Review:

If the cover for Hot Ticket isn’t enough to grab your attention and keep it, let me lure you to the Sinners side with this: within its pages is a hero who enjoys pain with his pleasure, a heroine who is willing to spank and whip, a bus full of band members – some of whom enjoy voyeurism and exhibitionism, and enough sex and romance to rock ‘n roll you all night. Sold? I thought so. *wink*

Jace Seymour seems to be the only Sinners band member who truly lacks self-confidence. He is so full of debilitating guilt that he can’t… see himself. Not objectively. And there is something so appealing about a guy who has no clue how awesome he really is. Because Jace is definitely charming and sweet and full of quirks. One of which is his need for pain. A need that leads him to Aggie, a stripper with a part-time gig as a Domme. The moment Jace sees her on stage, cracking her whip, he is a goner.

Aggie, however, is not so easily won. She has no use for men, other than to make them crawl and beg and kiss her boot. But, the instant Jace’s session starts, she realizes he isn’t like her usual clientele… and something about him calls out to her. Which leads to Aggie breaking all of her rules for the sensitive bassist. If anyone can understand what Jace needs, it’s her. Aggie is a strong woman who isn’t afraid to embrace life—in all its dark and alluring glory. The girl is kinky and proud. Which is one of my favorite things about her.

Jace and Aggie together… Well, let’s just say those two are inventive and imaginative when it comes to between the sheets action. The things they get up to (or should I say, down to?) will knock your socks off. Prepare yourself for the awing stamina that is Jace Seymour, ladies! That man can go and go and go.

And don’t even get me started on that pervy little voyeur, Eric. Oh. My. God. Jace plus Aggie plus Eric—it leaves me speechless. You must read it to fully grasp how hot that trifecta truly was. It was so damn hot that I wanted more. Much more.

But, more than just sex, I appreciated the emotions that grew between Aggie and Jace. How even though Jace is afraid of the past and Aggie is afraid of the future, they took the time to figure each other out. They cared and listened to what the other needed. It may have started as awesome, awesome sex but their hearts were also quickly engaged. As was mine.

Hot Ticket is a rockin’ good time. It will heat your insides to boiling and keep you simmering for the entire book. Miz Cunning has me wanting to beg for more. And I am beyond excited that Eric’s book is next! I am all about Eric.

Favorite Quote:

Watching his face, she struck him again and then kissed him deeply, her tongue mingling with his. He didn’t usually experience a blend of pain and pleasure. In the past, he did his best to keep the two separate. But even the night before, Aggie had given him what he needed and hadn’t judged him for it. Jace’s excitement mounted quickly. He wrapped his arms around her, tugging her against him and deepening her kiss.
He groaned in her mouth when she struck him again. Fuck, he was hard. He wanted her. No, more than that. He needed her.
Like he needed air.
She turned her head, breaking their kiss, and spanked him again.
”You like that?”
He couldn’t form a coherent thought. “Huh?”
”A touch of pleasure with your pain.”
”Yeah.”
