Cover Reveal + Excerpt! For Fallon by Soraya Naomi

For Fallon by Soraya Naomi
Soraya Naomi (July 26, 2014)

We all have a façade, a concealed mask we wear to portray ourselves to the world.

Fallon’s mask is real, what you see is what you get. Growing up with two loving parents in Chicago, graduating in Chicago, and now working a job she loves, she enjoys her life.

Her untarnished world is shaken when Luca crosses her path.

Luca’s mask is tightly controlled. Distrust, rivalry, and violence rule his life.

When confronted with insecurities, when the one you love wears his mask perfectly, when your life unravels and you don’t know why, do you keep trusting the person you love?

Everyone has a façade. Everyone has an ulterior motive.

Her picture doesn’t do her any justice. That woman is stunningly beautiful. A trigger ignited when

I supported her by the elbows. Observing her every move since we spotted her in the club, I saw a

calmness in her attitude, an air of innocent mischief in the graceful way she poses herself. A woman

intriguing enough to simply watch her dance with her loud friend.

I instructed Matteo—one of the cabbies on our payroll—to inform me when they were home. She

doesn’t give her address to strangers; she’s careful in her interactions, which could pose a problem for

me. I need to gain her trust.

Adriano comes barging out of the club. I lift my hand to signal him over.

“What the fuck was that?” he practically yells.

“Tone it down.”

He steps closer to me. “What the hell was the kiss for?”

I shrug him off. “I made contact, didn’t I?”

Adriano perks a brow. “That was my job. Guess she wasn’t interested in my ugly face.”

“I put her in one of our cabs. She’ll take some work, though. But she has made this night a lot

more fun.”

His expression contorts in comical disapproval. “Be careful with that one. You guys were eye

fucking the shit out of each other.”

“I would like to do more than eye fuck her,” I groan.

“Just fuck someone tonight at the house. We have enough hot brunettes available for you.”

“Not tonight. We have more work. Come on.”
