Synopsis:

Review:

In college, Beatriz wanted Ben and Ben wanted Beatriz. But, for one reason or another (and not from a lack of trying on Bea’s part), nothing ever happened. Flash forward five years and the two find themselves at Bea’s sister’s wedding to Ben’s best friend. And Bea, a sex blogger, has a book review deadline to complete during the festivities. A book that happens to be a sex position manual. Ben, as you might expect, is very willing to help Bea out.

Beatriz was like a tamer—but no less sexually liberated—version of one of my favorite heroines, Nora Sutherlin (from Reisz’s Original Sinners series). And, while it didn't have the depth of emotion I'm used to from Reisz, it was definitely one red hot read. Ben and Bea give it their all while testing out the manual. And Ben proves he is more than willing to try anything Bea asks.

Misbehaving was cute and light and more than a little dirty. Plus it was downright funny—there were more than a few times I laughed out loud. There was also plenty of snark and sass... but only tiny hints of the Mistress of Kink’s kinkiness. I’m glad her trademark wit and attitude remained though. No one gives good dialogue quite like Reisz. I do have to admit that I prefer my Reisz stories a lot less vanilla and a lot less tame. Still, if Reisz writes it—you can’t bet I’ll be reading it!

And all of you Sinners fans, look for the nod to one of my favorite Sinners at the end.
