Review:

I think Joanna Wylde is psychic. Or, at least, she somehow clearly tapped into my brain waves and read my thoughts. Because just the other day, I was thinking to myself, ‘I really want to read a super steamy romance with a bad boy biker dude.’ And then, like magic, Reaper’s Property was released—and it was exactly what I was wishing for.

Marie Jensen is starting over. Having suffered through a bad marriage for years, when the no-good cheating loser turned abusive, she finally finds the courage to leave. And then finds herself back in the trailer she grew up in. Living with her brother Jeff. Being the nurturing, sweetheart she is, cooking and cleaning for her brother in exchange for a roof over her head works out just fine.

Until one day, out of the blue, three guys on bikes come rumbling down the drive. Because Marie’s brother, Jeff, is into some shady dealings with the Reaper’s Motorcycle Club. And when said deal goes south, well... someone has to pay. With blood. Luckily for Jeff, one of the Reaper’s members is sweet on Marie.

And his name is Horse. Yes, because he’s hung like one. But there is more to the big and tall biker with his sexy, stubbly beard than meets the eye. His thunder down under isn’t the only thing he’s got going for him (but, not gonna lie, it’s a huge part of his appeal). From the moment he see's Marie sweating in the sun, lounging at a picnic table, he was snared.

But his world and her world are two totally different things, so they stumble and fumble during their courtship. Things heat up fast and hot only to cool down. And when Jeff screws the Reaper’s over, Horse tries to save her from her brothers mistakes... by having her become his property. Er, yeah. Don’t worry though, Horse is an alpha badass but he isn’t an actual ass. And, well, maybe Marie needs a little bossy in her life. Particularly if his orders regularly include the word “come.”

I really enjoyed Miz Wylde’s take on MC life. It wasn't pretty all the time, but there was a family tribe vibe. And I’m very thankful girl fights and general cattiness weren't included. Sure, there’s a difference between the old ladies and the sweet butts, but those differences don’t cause hair pulling and eye gouging. Miz Wylde has done a great job blending the grittiness of MC life with bonds of friendship and family and camaraderie. I easily found myself immersed in life as part of the Reaper’s MC. And I kind of wish I had a leather cut with ‘Property of Horse’ on it... I’d wear it with pride!

Reaper’s Property is an intensely lustful romance with tons of action between the sheets and out of them. Horse knows how to rev up a woman's throttle, so be prepared to grip your Kindle tight ladies! I can’t wait to read what Miz Wylde writes next... I’m hoping it stars a certain Reaper by the name of Picnic.

Goddamn. This was better than my special pink vibrator, the one with two heads and the wiggly thing. My body stiffened and I grunted, toes curling. It was right there, just out of reach.
He pulled his mouth away and laughed.
”Knew it’d be like this,” he said. “I can’t wait to get inside, you’re tight as fuck so it might hurt the first time. But I’ll stretch you out a little and then holy fuck, it’s gonna be good. Time to come.”
