Review:

If you love sexy, Harley riding, dangerous, possessive, tattooed, bad-ass, law breaking alpha-holes, you will love Reaper's Property. I grabbed this book up quick after I read the description. And what's funny, me and my co-blogger, Letitia, never even discussed this book but we both read it at the same time. Great, smutty minds think alike. What's even better? We both loved it.

Marie has recently left her abusive, good for nothing husband and moved in with her brother, Jeff. While resting outside after working in the yard all day, three bikers pull up. One in particular with tattoos, long gorgeous brown hair, and piercing blue eyes catches her attention. She wasn't looking for anything, especially not a gorgeous, biker guy who oozes sex and danger.

“Jesus Christ...Thank fuck for that," Picnic said. "Nope, not Jesus, just a man," Horse whispered. "Although when women see my dick for the first time, they've been known to fall down on their knees and worship me."

Meet Marcus Antonius Caesar McDonnell aka Horse. Name says it all – hung like a horse. He's crude, hard, dominating, and one of the members of The Reapers MC. He's never been attached to any one woman, but there is something about Marie that makes him want to claim her as his property. Make her his old lady.

As time goes by, Horse and Marie form a friendship. A friendship that eventually turns into something more between them. However, Marie who is sweet and homie, and hasn't experienced life outside of her town, doesn't understand Horse's world. So when he asks her to be his property, she refuses him. Horse, unhappy with Marie's decision, walks away from her. But when Marie's brother, who is in deep with the MC, loses their money, Jeff must pay in blood. And by blood, Marie ends up in a position where she must pay for Jeff's mistake.

Horse pays a huge price to make sure Marie is protected from being hurt. He must take Marie as collateral until Jeff can pay back the club. This means Marie will be owned by Horse. She must do exactly what he says and do whatever he wants. However, he does make it clear up front this is her choice to make - go with Horse to save her brother or he dies. Of course, she chooses the lesser of the two evils. Besides, she's already been intimately involved with Horse. She does want him, she just doesn't want to be his property.

Marie has now entered into a strange, dark, and dangerous world. A world that consists of old lady's, Harley bikes, MC members who may not be blood but are loyal brothers to each other, devoted families, sweet butts – the club's whores, guns, and bad guys. But, as Marie gets to know the MC members and their families, she soon realizes that she likes being a part of this exciting new life, where everyone has accepted her with open arms – especially the other old ladies. And, as she gets to know Horse beyond his controlling personality, she sees a softer, more gentle side to him that makes her reconsider her feelings.

Someday,” he whispered softly in my ear. “I don’t want to hurt you. Not until you’re ready for me… But someday I’m going to own all of you, Marie. You’re all mine, babe. Knew it the first time I saw you. Couldn’t give you up if I tried.”

But Horse isn't always the gentleman. Sometimes his caveman-like personality comes to the surface and Marie loses patients with him. And when this happens, Marie is not afraid to put him in his place. I think Marie's sassy personality is exactly what Horse needed to keep him on his toes. Not a mousy woman who would bow down to his demands. But this goes both ways. Marie also discovers a lot about her sexuality. She likes to be dominated by Horse during sexy times. And speaking of sex. The sizzling sex scenes seriously revved my libido. Especially the raging sex scene on the stairs. Phew.

Unfortunately, this book is not without its flaws. Marie and Horse both make some mistakes that irritated me. A little bit of communication goes a long way. I didn't like the way Marie jumped to conclusions a couple of times. But hey, I can overlook all that when they start tearing each others clothes off during make-up sex. I know, I'm smutty. What can I say?

Reaper's Property is erotically sexy, exciting, and has a twist at the end that I didn't see coming. Besides the sexy times, the best part of the story is Horse. You will either love him or hate him. Personally, I fell in lust with him the moment he walks onto the pages. I loved his dominating personality and his dirty talk. I'm dying to get to know the other dirty talking, controlling, alpha-holes in the MC world Miz Wylde has created. Preferably Picnic.

Favorite Quote:

Goddamn. This was better than my special pink vibrator, the one with two heads and the wiggly thing. My body stiffened and I grunted, toes curling. It was right there, just out of reach.
He pulled his mouth away and laughed.
”Knew it’d be like this,” he said. “I can’t wait to get inside, you’re tight as fuck so it might hurt the first time. But I’ll stretch you out a little and then holy fuck, it’s gonna be good. Time to come.”

Thoughts While Reading:

70.0% - "The hero's name is Horse. Guess why? Heh. This book is made of awesome.”
