Synopsis:

Review:

Censored version? I loved this book. Uncensored version? I fucking loved this book.

Sophie Williams fell for the wrong brother, gave her virginity to an unworthy boy, and ended up with the gift of a lifetime. Her son, Noah. But being a mom at seventeen isn't easy and, eight years later as a single parent, it still isn't easy. Sophie's had to make choices and sacrifices. And one wrong choice could've cost her everything.

Thankfully, Ruger was there. Whether Sophie wants him to be or not, he's always there for her and Noah in all the ways that his loser stepbrother isn't. But Ruger is nothing if not bossy and controlling. A biker to the core, he lives the 1%er lifestyle completely. Women are property or they're nothing. They’re disposable and good only for one night hookups. The only woman who isn't disposable is Sophie.

Ruger and Sophie have a complicated history. A history full of pain and unrequited lust. When they’re forced to live together under the same roof, it only made all those pent up emotions between them burst free. And by pent up emotions, I mean a raw and uncontrollable urge to remove each others clothes and do a little bump and grind. And, oh, the sexual tension that stirs up. Wow. I dare you to resist Ruger and his multiple (and well placed) piercings and sexy tattoos.

Ruger had to be the hottest guy I had ever met, he was all danger and hard muscles, with his tattoos and piercings and that god damned black Harley of his. When he walked into a room he owned it, because it only took one look to see he was fucking badass, the type that takes what he wants.

But there is more to this story than just dirty and hot sex with a deliciously rugged biker. There's also grit and suspense and some pretty heavy emotions. As a reader, we’re taken to some pretty dark places with Sophie and Ruger. Neither one has had an easy life and the MC lifestyle isn’t exactly glamorous. It really made me love both Sophie and Ruger even more.

Sophie, because she’s tough and smart and she has a backbone. With a man like Ruger, who is incredibly dominant and, let’s face it, not exactly a friend of feminism, it would’ve been easy for her to fade into the background. Plus, I like that – delicious hunk of man meat aside – she made Ruger earn her affection.

“You want the freedom to sleep around. I'm not willing to give you that—I want more. Sounds like we have a fundamental difference of opinion here, and I'm not going to try and change you. But I'll tell you one thing, Ruger—I deserve to be with someone who gives a shit about me, as a person. Someone who values me enough not to fuck other women. I'd rather be alone the rest of my life than settle for what you're offering. Consider yourself a hell of a booty call, but that's it. We clear?"

Ruger really didn’t make it terribly hard to fall for him. For one thing, his utter devotion to Noah and Sophie. He might be easily misunderstood and he might be rough around the edges and, yeah, his philandering ways did make my heart hurt... but there is such goodness in him. Such honor. He definitely proves that a bad boy can also be a good man.

Reaper’s Legacy gives us an authentic MC world that really grabs you by the heartstrings. It gives us lusty and intense sexual chemistry. It gives us raw emotions and tons of action and drama. To put it simply: Reaper’s Legacy gave me everything that I’d hoped for after the epicness that was Reaper’s Property—and more. Joanna Wylde, please keep those sexy Reaper’s coming! (And, yes, I mean that in all ways.... *wink*)
