Synopsis:

Review:

***Warning: There are spoilers from the first book, Stalk Me***

I think I’m in hot boy overload! Keatyn, our heroine, puts my wild teen days to shame with her harem of delicious boys and naughty school girl outfits. I never thought I would be saying this but… I’m actually pretty impressed with this series. This series may be cute and fluffy, but the writing is addictive. And the storyline is so much fun!

This story picks up immediately where Stalk Me ends. After coming close to being kidnapped by her stalker, Keatyn had no choice but to leave her friends and family behind and go into hiding. With her new identity, she makes the decision to reinvent herself at her new boarding school. Become the person she wants to be, now that she’s not under pressure to keep up her social status. She decides to become more involved in school, starting with a lot of extracurricular activities. But there is one thing she is definitely not going to do: sit at the popular lunch table. She’s ready to make new friends that are genuine. Not superficial snobs that only care about their social status.

To top it all off, she manages to fall for two very hot boys who make her dizzy with lust. Oh, the trials and tribulations of teenage drama. Being in a semi love triangle and making a fresh start has never been more exciting.

I am officially done with boys. Forever. I’ll become a nun or a lesbian or a get a sex change or something. Maybe sew my vagina shut. – Deep thoughts by Keatyn (LOL)

Keatyn is fun-loving and sassy. She loves fashion, boys, and cars. I love her cowgirl boots. She’s not a mean girl and she doesn’t put up with the mean girls crap. They dish it out and she dishes it right back. I had a lot of ‘you go girl’ moments. I wish I was that saucy in high school. My one complaint about Keatyn would be her indecisiveness over which boy to pick because I thought the choice was obvious. But she’s your typical teenage girl. She’s young, carefree, and lives in the moment. She falls in and out of love easily. And I remember well how easily it was to think with your hormones and not your brain at that age. Sigh. Those were the good ole days. So it’s easy to forgive her for her fickleness.

It was good to see Keatyn make her own path in life, without the pressure of being the popular girl. She learns to be more independent and self-reliant. But, despite the fact Keatyn dresses to impress and lives a frivolous lifestyle, she still has insecurities. And we are shown just how vulnerable she feels being on her own. She misses her family and friends. She’s had to learn to accept this is her new life and may never be able to return to her old one. However, Keatyn is like a chameleon. She finds a way to accept her new life and settles in nicely.

I feel like I’m in a romance novel. And this is the kind of thing I have always pictured. Always dreamed of. A boy who wants me so bad he can barely stand it. - Keatyn

Now, let's meet the two main love interests…

Aiden: Keatyn has nicknamed him the ‘God of all hotties.’ The first day they meet, Keatyn falls into lust with him. He’s one of the most popular boys at school and he’s been stereotyped as a player. That doesn’t sit well with Keatyn. She may think he’s beautiful and be drawn to him, but she knows she should stay away from him. I was entirely unimpressed with this guy. He was hot one minute and then cold the next. His immaturity was a complete turn off. He has his moments at the end of the book but, by then, I had picked my team.

If Cush was hot, then Dawson is molten lava hot. Molten lava that seems to be rolling through every part of me. - Keatyn

Dawson: He used to date Whitney – the alpha bitch of the school who hates Keatyn. When Keatyn and Dawson first meet, they start off rocky, but eventually they become friends when Keatyn gives him advice on how to win Whitney back. Then something changes between the two of them. There is a spark. He becomes the guy that she has a hard time resisting. They start off with random passionate kisses until things between them become hot and heavy. Dawson is awesome. He’s sweet, considerate, and gorgeous. He treats Keatyn like a Princess. And what girl doesn’t want to be treated like royalty? I am totally smitten with this hot boy. Team Dawson all the way!

Boys, boys, boys, and more boys….Keatyn has it soooo good. Even though I was all about Cush in Stalk Me, I’ve managed to move on. I never thought I would crush on another boy so soon after Keatyn left Cushman behind. *cries* But Miz Dodd did something that rarely happens in a series: she made me fall for another hot boy even more than I did Cush baby. Who knew this was possible?!

Kiss Me is full of steamy kisses, teenage drama, teenage crushes, smoking hot boys, mean girls, independence, friendships, and laugh out loud good times. I’m really glad I took a chance and started this series. Date Me comes out soon and I’m so excited.

Side note: All of the ‘likes’ in this book just about drove me crazy. Like seriously.

  1. Thanks for the great review and for participating in the tour. I'm so glad you are, like, enjoying the series. As Keatyn becomes a little more East Coast, her likes will become a little less prevalent. I'm almost finished with Date Me :)
